Learn more about these otter-ly adorable marine mammals!
Did you know?
Mini me
Sea otters live along the coasts of the Pacific Ocean in North America and Asia. They are the smallest marine mammal, but the largest member of the weasel family.
Clever coat
Unlike many marine mammals, sea otters don’t have a layer of blubber (fat) to keep them warm. Instead, they rely on their thick, water-repellant fur – which is the densest in the animal kingdom!
Terrific tools
Sea otters use pebbles to crack open tough prey like clams and crabs. Some will use the same pebble for their entire lives! Sea otters have even been seen ‘juggling’ – bouncing their pebble from paw to paw!
Your mission: juggle like an otter
Take your NESTLÉ® PURE LIFE® bottle and start with it in one hand. Hold both hands out in front of you with your elbows bent at a 90-degree angle. Practice throwing your bottle back and forth between each hand. As you throw, you want your bottle to create a gentle arc shape, reaching no higher than eye level. Once you’ve mastered it, see if you can juggle for one minute, then land your bottle in a recycling bin. You’ll soon be a pro!
Remember, Planet Heroes...
If your NESTLÉ® PURE LIFE® bottle has a sleeve, remove it and put it in the general waste before recycling the bottle.
