Dinner time
Cheetahs are carnivores, meaning they eat meat. They are skilled hunters that feed on hares, antelope, impalas, wildebeest calves and gazelles.
Speed machine
Cheetahs chase their prey at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour (113 kilometres per hour)! It takes a lot of energy to run that fast so sprints are short, lasting between 20-60 seconds.
